Insofern steht der Mathematikunterricht in einer fruchtbaren Wechselbeziehung mit dem altsprachlichen Profil des Goethe-Gymnasium, die sich in verschiedenen Projekten und f\u00e4cher\u00fcbergreifenden Kooperationen zeigt.<\/p>\n<p>So ist der Fachbereich Mathematik ebenso wie der Fachbereich Griechisch in besonderer Weise am Edubba-Projekt und den dazu veranstalteten Projekttagen im Jahr 2009 beteiligt gewesen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Babylonischer Zahlensalat<\/li>\n<li>Praktisches Rechnen mit babylonischen Zahlen<\/li>\n<li>Wurzelziehen in Babylon<\/li>\n<li>Mathematik in \u00c4gypten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In den f\u00fcnften Klassen wird regelm\u00e4\u00dfig eine Exkursion an das Institut f\u00fcr Altorientalistik veranstaltet, um in die antiken Zahlensysteme einzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zahlen schreiben im alten Babylon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mit den Anf\u00e4ngen der Mathematik und bedeutenden Mathematikern der Antike befassen sich folgende Materialien und Artikel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Die Anf\u00e4nge der Mathematik<\/li>\n<li>Thales<\/li>\n<li>Pythagoras<\/li>\n<li>Sokrates und das Quadrat (aus Platons &#8222;Menon&#8220;)<\/li>\n<li>Euklid<\/li>\n<li>Eratosthenes<\/li>\n<li>Die Erdumfangsberechnung des Eratosthenes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Der Mathematikunterricht bietet zahlreiche Ankn\u00fcpfungspunkte f\u00fcr die Besch\u00e4ftigung mit der antiken Mathematik, insbesondere mit der Mathematik der alten Griechen.
